Aminal aligns with Gamer Beats

Chapel Hill-based Aminal have joined up with Gamer Beats to release “Drag Me Away”, the lead track off their Face to Fight EP, on Rock Band. Aminal’s take on southern rock is a huge crowd pleaser, and the band is poised to broaden their reach over the coming months.

The Beatles ‘All You Need Is Love’ Setting Rock Band Records

It only took 2 days for the Beatles to set the record for fastest selling song within the Rock Band franchise. As mentioned in our earlier post, this is only good news for Rock Band fans, artists and authors. It will be very exciting to watch as the Beatles continue to light up the gaming community.

The fact that song sales are going to support a good cause only make this announcement sweeter. Funds raised through song sales are going to help fund Doctors without Borders purchase essential equipment and medical kits.

What the Beatles really mean for Rock Band is a larger audience comprised of a much wider and diverse range of people young and old.
